Beautiful Colorado

Byron and I took a trip to Colorado to visit Owen & Kim (Byrons brother and sister-in-Law). We stayed with Owen and Kim in their house in Loveland, which is very nice. You can see the mountians from their house, what a view! We went to Estes Park, Rocky Mountian National Forrest, Garden of the Gods, and the Airforce Academy. We go to see lots of wonderful sites, and we had fun spending time with Owen and Kim.

Illinois here we come

Grandma Chrest, Thor and I set out to Illinois for a few days. We had a great time, we worked on some puzzles, did some shopping, got our pedicures and just enjoyed being together! Also we got to celebrate Brittany's 17th birthday! Thor played with the kittens, well tried to play with the kittens until the momma cat scratched him by the eye. We had a great time and can't wait to come back to visit again soon!

Thor Helping!

Well we finally got rid of the beatiful green shag carpet on the second floor of the house. Dad and Merry came over on Saturday and helped us rip out the old carpet. Thankfully the carpet came out really easy, and the flooring under that carpet was just a pretty as the green shag, haha! The new carpet was laid later in the week, it looks very nice, we are so happy we had it done.

Road Trip..

Adam Schultz, Justin Schultz, Fred Butson & I went to St. Augustine Florida this past week for a guys golf week, we had a great time. Adam played in the mud and we saw a croc, fortunately it was from the other side of the pond. After a day full of golf and sun we chilled in our awesome room, watching TV and playing poker, good choice Adam!

Off to Illinois

I had some vacation time to use up so I thought it would be fun to go down to Illinois to see my family! Grandma Chrest, Mike and Thor joined me on the trip. We had a lot of fun while we were there. I got to see Brittany's new car, it's an '85 Lincoln Town Car, what a beast! Sara and Brittany both work at Sonic so they got me hooked on Watermelon Sprites! Haley just keeps growing every time I see her, she's going to be taller than me soon! Sara and I decided to get a 1000 piece puzzle, after we started putting it together, everyone came out and helped. Who knew putting a puzzle together could be so much fun! Thor had fun too, he played with Maggie my mom's dog (she's a 2 yr old chocolate lab). I can't wait to go down there again soon.

We will miss you...

Our wonderful Grandma B. passed away on February 12th. There were two services held, one in Owosso and one in Muncie, IN. While we were in Indiana we got to see lots of family, some that we havn't seen in years. Byron's cousin Kristina and her family stayed at the same hotel as we did so we got to spend some time with them. We had a great time sharing stories and catching up. The guys entertained us with there cell phone ringers, Maurie's ringtones were the best!
